Request a Quote button (product page + product listing) + list in account area
Hello Woodmart team,
I would like to suggest a feature that could be very useful for many WooCommerce stores, especially those that work in both B2C and B2B environments.
It would be great to have a “Request a Quote” button integrated into the theme, available:
- on the single product page
- in the product listing/grid (shop and archive pages)
This button should not replace the “Add to Cart” button, but rather coexist with it. Many stores sell to B2B customers who often purchase large quantities. In these cases, a “Request a Quote” option is very useful to allow customers to ask for a custom price or bulk discount before placing an order.
A possible workflow could be:
- Users can add products to a “quote request list” (similar to a wishlist but for quotes).
- The list can then be submitted as a quote request to the store owner.
- The requested quote list should also be visible in the user’s private account area.
An additional improvement would be allowing users to quickly request the same quote again with one click from their account. This would be extremely useful for businesses that frequently reorder the same products (for example: food supplies, cleaning products, paper goods, bathroom supplies, etc.).
I know plugins like YITH Request a Quote already implement something similar, but having native integration within Woodmart would provide better performance, design consistency, and easier setup.
