Personalized "Product Selections" with unique link generation
There are often situations when customers consult about products by phone or in chat. Consultants offer products, but this turns into a bunch of links or screenshots. This is not convenient for either customers or consultants.
Proposal:
Create a new functionality - Product Selections
Should work for certain roles of authorized users, for example: administrators, editors, store managers.
How it should look:
1. On the products of the catalog, these roles of authorized users should have an icon to add to a new product selection.
2. A separate page is created with all the user's product selections created.
3. Selections can be given their own names.
4. The selection can be shared by generating a link to it (anyone with the link can view it).
5. The ability to remove or add products to the product selection (for the user who created it and from the admin).
6. Ability to set the collection storage period, after completion - clicking on the selection link will redirect to the selected page (for example, catalog main page).
7. Collections can visually be almost indistinguishable from the catalog (tile/list, sorting, ability to add to wishlist/compare) except for the presence of the selection name (names may not be unique).
Such functionality will make consultants' communications more individualized and practical from the point of view of up-selling.
