John Morgan thank you for explaining.
John Morgan thank you for your detailed explanation, makes totally sense, and great to know that PDF Invoices & Packing Slips (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packi…) is fully compatible with Woodmart
Hi is this planned ?
The total order weight should also be included in the PDF invoices and packing slips. The total cargo weight is a very important feature for food products. We have to use add-ons for this.
Not necessarily pdf. Could be html, which can then be saved as pdf. Example of a plugin where you can partially edit the template https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-delivery-notes/
Hi any news about this ?
definetly need this option and also need a woodmart IOS and android app
Cant wait to see this in Woodmart, would be a great feature for the theme !
It would be great to have this .
Yes it would be great to have this, it's a must have :)
I'm not sure if this should be something a "theme" would do in general. But would be cool
Developing native PDF invoice functionality is not a practical or strategic direction for the developers of the WoodMart eCommerce WordPress theme. Invoicing is a legally regulated process in many countries, often governed by strict requirements related to tax compliance, document retention, digital signatures, and standardized formats. For example, within the EU and other regions, businesses are required to issue invoices that comply with formats like UBL (Universal Business Language) or ZUGFeRD. Importantly, UBL is not a single universal format — its implementation varies between countries (e.g., Peppol BIS in Belgium, Faktur-X in Germany, FatturaPA in Italy), each with its own structure, rules, and compliance requirements. Supporting all these standards would require deep legal expertise and constant updates to reflect evolving tax legislation across multiple jurisdictions. Additionally, the needs for invoicing vary greatly depending on the business model (B2B vs B2C), regional VAT rules, required invoice metadata, credit note workflows, and whether invoices need to be archived or digitally signed. These complex and critical aspects are best handled by specialized invoicing plugins, which are actively maintained by developers focused specifically on tax and accounting compliance. Even if we were to build our own basic invoice functionality, it would still fall far short of the extensive features, reliability, and compliance offered by existing popular solutions — many of which are free. As such, we wouldn’t be delivering real value to users, and would instead be duplicating efforts that are already solved more effectively by others. Instead of creating our own limited solution, we are committed to ensuring full compatibility and seamless integration with established plugins such as PDF Invoices & Packing Slips (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packi…) for WooCommerce and similar tools. This approach allows our users to benefit from professional-grade invoicing features while we continue to focus on what we do best: delivering a highly customizable, high-performance WooCommerce theme.
