Maximum product quantity
Please consider adding a product setting for maximum quantity that customers can buy. This is useful for large or heavy products, for scarce products, products with legal restrictions, etc.
Optimally it would be possible to also set a maximum quantity for a combination of products. This could be done if we would be able to create quantity maximum rules. Add products / categories to a quantity rule. Define the maximum points level. Give each product a specific number of points. When the number of points in an order is reached, then do not allow the customer to add it to cart.
If the maximum quantity is reached, then do not allow the customer to add it to cart. Then display a friendly message notifying the customer of the restriction.
We are currently using this plugin, but I think that XTemos would do a better implementation:
