HTML in attributes

Hi, I have an online furniture store. Many furniture contains several variations, I would like to add an "HTML" for each variation, to show products using that variation. I have created and added the HTML code in the "description" field of each variation, however, it is not displayed. Would it be possible to add a small icon in the variations, to display the HTML on click? An example is attached. grateful.
