Hide prices for the out of stock products
Currently, out-of-stock products display their last selling price. However, when a product has been discontinued for a while, its selling price may change upon restocking. This often leads to conflicts, as customers may claim they saw a lower price before.
This issue is particularly problematic when a customer requests a pre-order for an out-of-stock item, expecting to purchase it at the previously displayed price. To avoid pricing disputes, we need out-of-stock products to hide their price entirely unless they are in stock or available for backorder.

It seems it would be more effective to have an option for 'discontinued product' OR 'hide price'.
