give us a light version "Woodmart light"

Hello Recently the theme has been greatly inflated, turning into a "combine machine" with all the functions that are often not needed and only create extra code that slows down the theme itself. The theme becomes heavy and unwieldy. Often, free themes from the repository are much faster than Woodmart - this is not normal. And the question here is not that we are setting it up incorrectly. Release an additional theme in the installation: for example, "Woodmart light" - for those who do not need anything extra but only need a quick response, mega menu and header builder functions, all the functions of Ajax search, Gutenberg, pop-up windows and sliding sidebars for mobile with a minimal set of styles. in my opinion, this is a minimal list of what is not needed at all: Backup Prebuilt websites Visitor counter Sold counter Frequently bought together Free gifts Free shipping bar Estimate delivery Abandoned cart Waitlist Layouts (the list is longer) Also, reading all the proposals for the implementation of new functions raises concerns that the topic will become a "mega machine combine" in the future Leave the big Woodmart combine, give us a light version too.

Yep, I suppose providing feature toggles is a better solution as everybody's understanding of what is the needed minimum is different.

I understand the topic and have the same concern. However, we do use a lot of the features and love the expansion of Woodmart but indeed the theme can become heavy. Maybe a solution is instead of creating a light theme is to simply give the option to deactivate certain features. Ofcourse the code will still be stored somewhere but won’t be loaded everytime. This way it is more customizable for everyone within the same theme to create a light weight shop or use everything and deal with more load time, like us :) In addition, we changed to a managed VPS recently and now have a very fast front and backend. We did this because of the traffic and processes we run but also resulted in a fast backnd. Even when using all the woodmart functions. Definitely worth the investment.
